Can I bleach my own jeans to get the distressed look?

I saw a picture of Cheryl Cole in a mag the other day wearing some jeans with bleach spots on - no doubt she paid a fortune for them!! I have some jeans that are very faded now & I was going to throw them out but do you think I'd successfully be able to bleach them myself?

How do I talk to my little sister about sex?

My little sister has just started dating. She's 14 and I overheard her talking to a friend about sex the other day. I wasn't earwigging - they were talking so loud that anyone could have heard them!! I know she isn't ready for this - how do I get into a conversation about this with her?

SHould I start getting a base tan?

I am going on holiday in October with my girlfirends. A couple of them have started going on sun beds to build up their base tan before we go away. I don't like sun beds, is this necessary? What will be the benefit to them of this?

Are designer clothes actually better quality?

I buy alot of clothes & go for quantity rather than quality I guess, but then always moan when my favourite top has gone out of shape or got a whole at the seam or something. My friend buys all designer gear & says she does this because the quality of the clothes is better & therefore they last longer. I think she is just a bit of a label snob but is she right? Are designer clothes actually better quality or is it just the label that you are paying for?

Which hairspray is best?

I don't use hairspray very often but when I do I find it leaves my hair really hard & dry. Is there a hairspray that is a natural hold, that won't leave my hair rock hard & also won't dry it out.

Do cream blushers go on easily?

I use powder blusher & find it very easy to apply & that it goes on very evenly. I saw a lovely blusher the other day that I wanted to buy but it was a cream blusher & I'm not sure. Are they easy to apply or does the colour tend to stick together in one place?
