hair color help

my hairdresser, colored my hair a nice bronze/brown color. I went recently and had a texturizer put on and a touch up on my color to cover the grey, this time my color came out red. I hate it what happened, what can i use to get back to the bronze/brown I'm thinking about doing this myself, what did she do wrong.
